The Silent Opera is a cautionary tale of abuse of power, vengeance, and provincial choices. The  24x30" images are arranged in groups when hung in the gallery. First, we have the Scenes, then the Bad Guy characters, the Vulture who is the arbiter of bad behavior,

and finally, the Good Guy characters.

The large images are stabbed to the wall with pins. Also in the gallery between the groups are three video monitors with the Bad Guys silently singing on the left, the Vulture singing in the middle and the Good Guys singing on the right. The monitors are arranged to slightly face each other and while they are silently singing at the same time, no one hears their voices because their words are empty.
